We just couldn't resist getting out to enjoy the wonderful weather this weekend. Being 7 months pregnant, I also figured that we shouldn't pass on this opportunity to visit the zoo again. It may be a while before we have another chance. So, on Saturday, we headed to Fort Worth. Guess who surprised us at the Railhead BBQ? Poppy and Dory! The girls were thrilled, and after a super delicious lunch, we all headed to the zoo. The weather was picture perfect--warm, but not too sunny. We had a wonderful time!

Ella has turned into a complete mama's girl. She stuck close to me all day.
Grace's favorite part? Dippin' Dots. Her sad part? They were out of rainbow, so she settled for chocolate mint.
Ella was feeling left out, until she got some of her own.

After leaving the zoo, we headed back to Dallas for dinner at Chuy's. These girls were very happy!
On Sunday, we enjoyed lunch at Babe's and then a trip to the Dallas Farmer's Market. We picked up some tasty watermelon, pineapple and one cherry snow cone.
Later that afternoon, Travis ran with the girls and Baylor down to a park near the lake. Poppy, Dory and I met them there for some play time at the park. Then, we walked to the lake, and Grace went fishing with her Barbie pole. She was disappointed that she didn't catch anything, but the trip wasn't a total loss. We somehow managed to keep Ella out of the water--she's getting so hard to keep up with!
