Sutton just gets better by the minute. This month brought a lot of physical accomplishments, such as crawling, standing, clapping and using his walker! Good job, little man!

A couple of weeks ago, I found him like this when he woke up from his nap. Standing in his crib before 7 months? Are you kidding me?
I yelled at Travis to come up and bring the camera. Sutton was probably wondering what the fuss was all about.
He's a champion crawler and has used his new skill to maneuver around the house. He's already getting into things he's not supposed to, like the Christmas tree, the baby monitors (to chew on the cords) and the fireplace.

He outgrew his playmat, as evidence by his interest in getting off of it as quickly as possible.
So, the playmat now lives in the attic, and the walker has a new place downstairs. It didn't take him long to figure it out...

and this is just the first of many "oops, you caught me" looks we've seen lately.
Sutton also sat in a restaurant highchair for the first time this month, at where else? Ojeda's, of course.

Poppy gave him his first taste of refried beans, and he loved them! He's branched out in the baby food department this month, but he still does not like veggies. He's taking about four 7-8 oz. bottles a day and is much less interested in them now that he's eating more solids. When he's hungry, he bangs his right hand up and down. He has little patience when waiting to eat!

He also loves Puffs and Cheerios, and it's been fun to watch him improve his hand-eye coordination as he tries to get them into his mouth.

I am very happy to report that Sutton is FINALLY sleeping through the night. He goes to bed around 7:30 and sleeps until 6:30. What a relief! We're hoping he'll start sleeping in a little later, and he actually did yesterday until 7:20. It was a wonderful way to start our Sunday. All this new eating and sleeping is causing him to continue to grow like a weed. He seems so heavy and really gives my arms a workout. He loves to be carried, but is also content entertaining himself when he needs to.

He is really, really ticklish. I mean all the kids are, but Grace and Ella weren't this ticklish early on. Sutton just bursts into giggles when we tickle him. There's no sweeter sound than that of a baby's laugh.
Sutton and Baylor have such a cute relationship. Sutton loves being able to crawl all over Baylor now, and Baylor is so gentle with him.
And, he still loves his sisters. Grace can make him laugh quicker than anyone. And when she laughs, he does, too.
Ella's always trying to help him. "Here buddy. I hep you. I hep you play toys!" And, she let's us know when he's getting into trouble, by yelling, "No, bubby! No man!"
Sutton is a wonderful baby, and we're thankful for seven sensational months! He's sweeter and cuter everyday.
