Two weeks ago, Gracie had a major accomplishment. At exactly 4 1/2 years old, she learned to pump herself on a swing. I can't remember when I learned to do this, but it's such a huge thing and she's so proud of herself! All it took was me lowering the swing a couple of notches so that she could easily sit down. Then, I showed her how to lean back and pull herself up while pumping her legs in and out. Next thing I know, she was off!
