Our Halloween started with goodbyes and laziness. After the big birthday party on Saturday, we said goodbye to our family and spent the morning in our jammies. Then, we baked and ate yummy sugar cookies and carved our jack o'lantern. I love baking with Grace and Ella, and I love watching them have fun together. They love making messes and eating sprinkles.

Then it was time for carving our pumpkin. Grace meticulously sketched out a design, and then Travis went to work. Meanwhile, Sutton kept climbing onto the table, standing up and grabbing our homemade ghosts. He is such a stinker!
Ella wasn't interested at first. She helped Sutton rearrange our pumpkins. He kept handing them to her and yelling, "Mine!" Apparently, he hasn't quite figured out what "mine" means, but he hears it a lot around here.
Grace finally convinced Ella to join her, and they had so much fun pulling out the "pumpkin guts."
The finished product was just as Grace envisioned. Good work to both her and Travis!
