Ella has also learned to stomp and looks so cute stomping and marching around the house. She's braver than ever, having now learned to climb the stairs to the fort on her own...
She enjoys music and dancing. She often turns the CD player on by herself and starts dancing solo. Anytime she hears music, she starts moving to the beat--too cute. She likes Grace's Barbie guitar, but it looks like I caught her in a bad moment here...Yes, she's wearing pigtails. Gabby did it. It's almost long enough to get all of her hair up, and it looks super cute. I think she looks so much like Grace did at this age. She's gotten more teeth this month, including her bottom molars. That brings her teeth count to twelve.
Ella continues to love food, especially "nanas" and "bees." If ever it gets quiet in the house, you can usually find her in the pantry, trying to climb up the shelves. Every morning, she calls for her daddy and they head downstairs to pick out breakfast from the pantry and fridge. She's very vocal about what she does and does not want to eat. She often asks for and points to Cheerios, granola and apple sauce. Some mornings, she wakes up asking for "cookies." She also had her first ice cream cone this month. Her sweet tooth is rampant! And, randomly, she'll ask for certain foods. For example, yesterday morning, on the way home from church, she said, "Mommy. I need brocci. Agua." Easy enough (and yes, she loves broccoli). That was a much healthier request than the cupcakes she asked for on the way there.
She's also turned into quite the ham, smiling and saying, "CHEESE!" for the camera...
Ella and Grace continue to adore each other. It's so fun to watch them play together. Grace is super protective of her, even though Ella is the brave one. When one starts crying, the other immediately cries, too. They make a great team. We're looking forward to seeing how their baby brother fits into the mix!
