Another special treat this weekend was that our dear friend, Marcia, came to visit from Florida. She used to live in Sonora, and our families were so close. We hadn't seen each other in 8 long years, so it was really special to be able to have her stay at our home. My girls fell in love with her, and we had a wonderful time catching up!
We all had fun at Murse's 80th birthday party on Saturday. Here's the birthday girl, looking happy on her big day!
Ella is always drawn to this metal dog. Yesterday was no exception.
She also loved getting to play with sweet Addisyn and was actually really good about taking turns with all the toys.
Grace learned how to play bocce ball. She's much more competitive than we had originally thought. She loves to win and gave her daddy a run for his money!
And, she practiced her hula hooping skills...

I love family gathering. It really makes you think how lucky you are. I agree with Candy. Great genes.
